Unfortunately we are having to postpone my UK tour to make sure the shows can be as safe as possible. I want to thank you all for your patience, I’m gutted that I had to put the shows back again, it’s been a testing time for everyone but I can’t wait to play for you again. New video – Ain’t No Sunshine
With just under a week to go until the new tour kicks off in Germany the excitement in camp Roachford is reaching fever-pitch. So much so, that in the interest of letting off a little steam, Andrew demanded we share a little something with the blog audience. Introducing the video for the new single – a funked up version of Bill Withers’ 1972 hit Ain’t No Sunshine.
With this cover Andrew joins the prestigious ranks of Michael Jackson, Eva Cassidy and Ladysmith Black Mambazo, who’ve all reinterpreted the song in the past. We hope it’s put enough sunshine in your life to tide you over until the new tour, for which booking info is, as ever, on the Gigs page.

Nedwood Music Festival cancelled
Unfortunately the Nedwood Music Festival that Andrew was due to play has been cancelled.
The organisers sent us this message…
It is with great sadness and total devastation that we have to inform you that the unfortunate decision has been taken to cancel Nedwood Music Festival 2016.
On the afternoon on Thursday (28 July) we were informed that due to unforeseen circumstances the provider of our stage crews, lighting and sound techs, stage and production Managers and most importantly sound monitoring were unable to provide their services. Although Nedwood Music Festival has a lot of their own infrastructure and additional services could have been resourced, we are sad to say that Sound Monitoring provision to which certain qualifications are required was not one of them. Sound Monitoring is very much a crucial part of our Event Licence from Charnwood Council with very strict criteria to meet and with less than 14 days to go with no guarantees that any new Sound Monitoring provision would have been accepted it would be exceptional unfair and unprofessional to carry on knowing that there would be an exceptionally high chance that the Festival would have to be cancelled at the very last minute.
If you were planning to come, sorry we won’t see you there – do make sure you check out the gigs page to see other dates you can come to.

Summer Days – Cancelled
Unfortunately the Summer Day’s festival that Andrew was due to play at in July has been cancelled.
The organisers sent us this message…
Summer Days, the new boutique music and food festival that launched this year, has been cancelled.
This year’s event was scheduled to take place at Clitheroe Castle between 6 and 9 July with headliners Simply Red, Jools Holland and Echo & The Bunnymen.
A spokesman for Summer Days said: “After serious consideration we are heartbroken to announce that Summer Days festival 2016 will not take place. We have looked at every angle possible to keep the event live but due to a combination of factors including rising cost and newly arisen logistical obstacles we have no choice but to call Summer Days off.
“All ticket holders will of course receive a face value refund and should contact their ticket vendors directly.
“Support for Summer Days has been both incredible and humbling and makes this decision all the harder. You have our heartfelt apologies. Thank you again for all your support.”
Apologies to those are you planning to attend – do make sure you check out the gigs page to see other dates you can come to.
